Overview
A bituminous, mastic based compound that immediately repairs large holes and deep cracks in leaking flat roofs. It immediately bridges gaps and leaves a water tight repair even in heavy rain or when under standing water. Ideal for all types of roofing including felt, asphalt, slate & tiles.

Preparation
Always ensure the area to be painted is free from dust, dirt and anything that may affect adhesion.
- Brush away any ponded water from the area of repair.
- Get rid of any dust or dirt with a stiff bristle brush.
- If dry dampen down the surface with white spirit.
Application
Always perform a test on a small inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility, we recommend following the manufacturer's instructions found on the container.
- Use a trowel or palet knife to work the mastic into the area of repair.
- Small repairs: Pack the mastic in and ensure to cover around 10cm around the repair.
- Large repairs: Use a scrim bandage to reinforce the repair. Complete the repair by covering the whole area, plus about 25cm around it.
Although it is effective immediately, It should be left for at least 7 days to allow solvents contained in the product to evaporate before permanent repairs are carried out. Ideally, this should be completed within one month of the initial application.
