Overview
Ronseal Total Clear Wood Preserver is a pre-treatment for exterior wood including sheds, fences, doors and any bare rough or smooth timbers. It provides long-lasting protection against rot and decay keeping your exterior wood in top condition. It also prevents against woodworm infestations. This wood preserver is a great base and should be over-painted with a suitable top coat to offer UV and weather protection.

Preparation
Ensure that the wood is clean, dry and bare, to help the preserver to sink in.
Application
We recommend always following the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin. Stir thoroughly, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before treating the entire surface to ensure compatibility.
- Shake well before use.
- Ronseal Total Wood Preserver can be applied by brush, spray or dipping.
- If applying by spray use a coarse spray and avoid misting, we recommend to use with .
- Where possible treat end grains by dipping to ensure complete penetration.
- Apply a minimum of 2 coats, covering all faces, sides, and joints, paying particular attention to the end grain.
- Wait 24 hours before applying the second coat.
- When the second coat is dry, repairs and gluing can be carried out.
- Avoid contact with bitumen, bitumen felt, or mastics and plastics.
